    What Does It Mean to Be Gay? It's natural to question your feelings and your place within the spectrum of gender and sexuality. You might talk to a parent, a friend, or someone from the LGBTQ+ community.

    Being transgender means your gender identity doesn’t align with the sex you were assigned at birth. Intersex is about physical traits; trans is about gender identity. Language in queer spaces is often personal and evolving.

    Within gay male culture, there’s a whole glossary of body-based identities. People grow. But maybe that’s the point – to stay open, to listen, and to let yourself be moved by the sheer variety of human experience.

Whether you identify as gay, bisexual, queer, lesbian, pansexual, or straight, the most important thing is to embrace who you are. There's always a reason for who you are.
